Juan Jose Briones is a native of the state of Jalisco, where he attended the prestigious Universidad de Guadalajara, from which he obtained a law degree in 1977. After his legal studies, Mr. Briones moved to Baja California where he joined the state's judicial police force. Afterward, he practiced law for several years in Baja California before becoming a consultant on foreign prosecutions for the Office of the District Attorney for the County of San Diego. This marked the beginning of a 23 year career with the Office of the District Attorney. Mr. Briones held various positions within the Office of the District Attorney until leaving his position as International Case Coordinator in 2008 to become a consultant for Molina Magaña and Associates in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.

Mr. Briones is a very active member of his profession in both México and the United States. He was co-chair for the bi-national fugitive task force, "Operacion Escoba," from 2004 to 2008, as well as being the secretary of international relations for the Emilio Rabasa Bar Association in Tijuana, Baja California, México and for the Confederacion de Colegios y Asociaciones de Abogados de México (Confederation of Attorney Bars and Associations of Mexico). Mr. Briones has also participated in several conferences, as both an organizer and a speaker, held on both sides of the border. The conferences have dealt with many vital issues such as extradition and prosecutions, child abduction, and various other trans border issues.

Mr. Briones currently works as a private investigator for the Hale Law Group. We rely on his extensive abilities based on his experience conducting investigations for the Office of the District Attorney for the County of San Diego and the State Judicial Police of Baja California on both sides of the border. In addition, Mr. Briones' continuous involvement with various professional organizations exhibits dedication to the current and modern investigation techniques, and to his clients' needs and goals.
